WELCOME TO THE LAB

Slick Portal designs dark, high-voltage bass music with a scientist’s patience and a saboteur’s instinct. Midtempo grit, dubstep impact, and electro-house punch fuse into tracks that feel both clinical and dangerous—minimal where it counts, brutal where it hits.

For fans of: REZZ • DEATHPACT • Dr. Fresch Recent support: RIOT (Fox Theatre, Boulder — Feb 26, 2026) • Social Kid (The Black Box, Denver — Feb 28, 2026)

Enter the lab. Don’t touch anything. New experiments incoming.

Follow the Journey

“I am so thankful for this town and the opportunities it has provided for me and my music career.

I don’t know that many people think of denver as a ‘music city’ but that is absolutely going to change over the next decade, and its going to be specifically because of bass music”

-on pursuing music in Denver-

Several decades in the making

Originally from Toms River (NJ), Andrew Spedick started out as an indie acoustic songwriter, playing piano since age 6 and guitar since age 11.

During undergrad, Andrew worked with a mentor who showed him the autonomy of electronic music and the basics of working with Ableton.

Gripped by the potential, Andrew quickly self-taught sound design, mixing, and the art of becoming a DJ.

Almost 15 years later, Slick Portal is the culmination of several music projects and years of dedicated hard work.

His new works mark a new era in his songwriting and a presents a polished, professional sound that fits seamlessly alongside industry legends.
